SYNOPSIS

14 février 1942, Jacques, 15 ans, est arrêté par la Feldgendarmerie pour détention d’armes. Il est successivement emprisonné à Compiègne, Amiens et La Santé à Paris. Puis, personne ne sait ce qu’il devient : il disparaît et ne rentre pas à la Libération. Sa mère, Emilia, recherche sa trace pendant plus de 30 ans, en vain. Elle apprend seulement qu’il a été déporté depuis La Santé vers le camp de concentration d’Hinzert, en Allemagne, le 18 juin 1942. L’histoire de sa disparition, comme celles de milliers d’opposants au IIIe Reich, révèle un aspect méconnu du régime de terreur mis en place par Hitler, entre 1941 et 1944 : celui des « prisonniers NN », les « Nacht und Nebel », les « Nuit et Brouillard ».

14 February 1942. Jacques, 15, is arrested by the Feldgendarmerie in Compiègne for possession of weapons. He is successively imprisoned in Compiègne, Amiens and to the jail of « La Santé » in Paris. Nobody knows what becomes of him. He vanished.
At the end of the war, Jacques does not come back. Her mother, Emilia, is looking for his traces for over 30 years, in vain. She only learns that he was deported from the jail of « La Santé » in Paris to the Hinzert concentration camp in Germany on June 18, 1942. In 2015, Olivier Fély-Biolet immersed himself in the national and international archives, in search of the fate of his cousin. He discovers his terrible journey and why no one could know what he had become. The story of his disappearance, like those of thousands of opponents of the Third Reich, reveals an unknown aspect of the terror regime put in place by Hitler, between 1941 and 1944: that of « prisoners NN », the « Nacht und Nebel » (Night and Fog).

OLIVIER FÉLY-BIOLET

En 2016, il écrit et réalise son premier film « L’Air d’un oubli », un huis-clos avec Marina Vlady et Jean-Claude Deret Breitmann, produit par VIGO Films. Entre 2015 et 2018, il est assistant-réalisateur sur le long-métrage de Vincent Glenn « Enfin de bonnes nouvelles », ainsi que sur quatre courts-métrages. Il tourne également deux films institutionnels et son premier documentaire « Ces traces qui restent », un 52 minutes co-produit par les Docs du Nord, VIGO Films, France Télévisions et Pictanovo. Il travaille actuellement sur un scénario de long-métrage de fiction « Johatsu - les évaporés », sélectionné par la Maison des Scénaristes lors du 70ème Festival de Cannes.
